Q: How much is this going to cost?

A: The cost of a TSCM - Bug Sweep will vary according to some fixed and variable factors that include number of rooms or offices, facility size, the number of voice and data lines, number of computers to be analyzed, etc. All of our fees are quoted as flat rates. Q: I need your services but you are located in Virginia Beach, VA.  I'm in Nevada?

A: It can be an advantage to use a TSCM service provider outside of your geographical area. ComSec's services are available globally. Don't hesitate to contact us, no job is to big or to small.
 


Q: Aren't bugging devices illegal ?

Q: If you find a "Bug" can you trace it back to the person who planted it or purchased it?

A: If a listening device, bug, wireless camera, or other technical surveillance device is found during our sweep, we will meet with the clients to discuss next steps with regard to identifying the origin of the device (if possible) and procedures to mitigate future risk of recurrence.



Q: Could my vehicle be bugged? Can you sweep my car too ?

A: YES and YES many times an eavesdropper will look for the place that you will feel safe to converse, such as your vehicle. We sweep vehicles for tracking devices, audio and video technical surveillance threats.



Q:  Can cell phones be monitored? Can you sweep mine?

A: YES and YES, there are many software programs available over the net that allows an eavesdropper to take control of your cell phone or smart phone via bluetooth attack, sms text, mms, physical access, etc. Some cellular spyware can now secretly activate the microphone of your cell phone and actually overhear everything that occurs within 15 feet of your phone. While it sits innocently near you, an eavesdropper can monitor every sound in the room.




Q: I don't want anyone to know that you are going to conduct a TSCM Survey or Bug Sweep, can it be done covertly ?
